A movement-based system of martial arts based on the elemental rhythms; earth, water, fire, atmosphere. We combine high-level combative martial arts technique with primal movement skills, functional fitness, and intelligent self-defence.

We offer a unique skills and fitness training methodology for all levels, beginner to advanced; the self-mastery emphasis of traditional martial arts meets the real-world self-defence and pro-fighting effectiveness of “MMA”.

WHAT IS FLOW STRIKING?

More than your average kickboxing.

This class focuses on the essential movement patterns common to all functional striking martial arts.

We describe these patterns using sacred geometry: the elemental rhythms of Earth, Water, Fire, Atmosphere.

When you embody the character of an elemental rhythm, you tap into a natural “flowstate”. You elevate your skills by re-programming your muscle memory and reflexes, not by overcoming or resisting them.

The Emergent Martial Arts system makes it possible for the beginner to understand and use high-level techniques, even in a high-stakes scenario, like combat. These skills translate to every area of your life.

In Flow Striking, we combine the most effective techniques from a range of proven striking-based martial arts such as Muay Thai, Boxing and Karate. Whether you’re looking for a fun active lifestyle enhancement, or if your aim is to compete at a high professional level, Warrior Path can show you how to take your training to the next level.

WHAT DOES A TYPICAL CLASS LOOK LIKE?

WHAT TO BRING / WHAT TO EXPECT

Come to class like you would any kickboxing or fitness class. Bring water and wear comfortable workout clothes. If you have boxing gloves and handwraps, bring those too. Otherwise we have some gloves you can borrow.

We do a light warm-up geared toward the movement style we’ll be using in that day’s class, and typically do technique drilling in partners for the rest of the class, heavily supplemented by detailed instruction and demonstrations, one-on-one coaching, and friendly support from advanced students.
